Project Kasih Ibu aims to support small local farmers and cottage industries by purchasing products directly from them. Through our Farm-to-Table concept, we will convert these fresh and local ingredients into high vibrational vegetarian meals at our kitchen in Ara Damansara and supply them to the community at a reasonable price. In the near future, we intend to grow our own vegetables, herbs and spices to add to the diversity of these ingredients.
This project will involve a whole range of community members who will receive wages. We intend to help promote a sense of interconnectedness within the community, especially during difficult times when individuals are more vulnerable and disconnected than ever before. Approximately 30% of the proceeds generated will contribute towards social causes.
Kasih Ibu 成立的宗旨是推广和实践”从农场到餐桌”的理念。我们直接向本地小农户和小作坊购买产品或成品,并通过我们设在Ara Damansara的厨房,把这些新鲜时令食材转化为高振动力的素食餐,并以合理的价格供应给社区。
在当前疫情笼罩,很多人都在经历着各种不同的困难和挑战。因此,我们也希望透过这个项目,促进社区成员的互助与联系。这个项目里的成员所付出的心力将获得合理的酬劳,同时我们也会保留30%左右的收益以回馈社会。
在不久的将来,我们也计划展开小规模的种植活动,栽种蔬菜、香草药和香料等等,增加食材的多样性。
